The laboratory of Molecular pharmacology is created within the limits of the grant of the Government of the Russian Federation for the state support of the scientific researches spent under the direction of leading scientists in the Russian educational institutions of the higher vocational training.
The scientific line of activity of laboratory is concentrated in the field of biochemistry of new receptors-targets, optimization of carrying out high-efficiency screening, computer modeling of potentially active connections for receptors-targets, to carrying out of tests of preparations invivo and invitro.
The laboratory structure includes three divisions: group of molecular biology, chemical synthesis, biocomputer science and computer modeling. Considering a wide spectrum of directions of work, laboratory activity will be directed as on performance of separate projects on creation of medicines-candidates, and for profound studying of separate stages of creation of innovative medical products. Within the limits of laboratory attraction of authoritative experts in area protheomics and transcriptomics, and as cooperation with the Russian and foreign profile research organizations is carried out.
The project becomes step to an effective utilization of scientific potential of the St.-Petersburg state institute of technology (technical university) within the limits of long-term traditions of creation of new medical products, profound knowledge in the field of molecular design and methods of the directed synthesis of various connections on properties.
