Post Doc Fellowship – CANCER BIOLOGY
ADMC and the Medical Research Council Toxicology Unit, a leading research centre for cell death and mechanisms in tissue injury, invites applications from highly motivated postdoctoral scientists to join the Cancer Biology Group led by Gerry MELINO to work on projects focusing on cancer and cell death with a particular interest in the role of the p53 family in tumourigenesis, metastasis and chemo-resistance. This is a one year (extendible up to three years) training and development position for a scientist who has completed their PhD or who wishes to move into a new research discipline. Candidates should have a background and interest in cell death, the p53 family and/or DNA damage and/or micro-RNA.
The starting salary will be in the region of €30,000 (equivalent to circa £ 25,000) per annum.
